| I used this harness for the show ring only and it has been at the world show a couple of times. Hunts harnesses are top of the line in quality and show harness. The Hunts fine harness are appointment show harnesses with patent trim and polish brass hardware throughout. Rein traces, martingale forks, neck straps and tug bearers are round, over check. Martingales have a patent leather tear drop. Martingales, saddle, girth are padded and in patent leather. Sells new for over $2300.00. This harness is beautifully crafted for the discriminating horseman made by Hunts Harness Co. The bridle has a deep cup patent blinds enabling you to keep the blinds close to the eyes encouraging the horse to use his eyes better. The saddle has a black patent top and a color patent bead sewn in. The color bead in the browband and caveson match the saddle. This harness has a green bead. There is an extra browband with this harness. The orginal browband was too small for my horse and has a crack in it shown in picture. There is some wear on the strap on the left where the girth buckles. The Caveson is in working order but has the one strap holder (do not know what it is called ) has one side is off the leather. You can not notice this at all when it is on the horse. It still buckles just fine. Otherwise this harness is in very good shape and it has always been store indoors. I have cleaned it after each use. I take pride in my tack and take care of it. This harness fit a 16.3 hand hunter type, 1300 lb horse shown in picture. 80 inches for the tugs. I measured tip to tip. Overcheck I measured from the end that is connected to the bit to the end of the rope/strap that connects to the saddle which is 67 inches plus 6 more inches to play with for the part that you can adjust on the other end of the overcheck. This harness is good for many, many more years to come. It also comes with a grey fake fur lined green canvas bag for storage. *** The bit is not included. | Used Houghton Sulky Pleasure Show Cart. This cart has 96 inch shafts. Used on a 16.3H Hunter Type horse. It is in excellent condition. It has been store most of it life in a heated garage in the winter. It has wheel covers and a black body cover for storage. Wheel covers are not in any pictures but are included. This cart was used on in the World Show, show rings or show grounds ONLY. Tires always hold air. There is a few places on the seat rail in the back where the paint has come off because of the way it is stored. I have used permanent marker on it to hided the metal which works fine. Medium walnut stained shafts with black pin stripe that are in excellent shape and all the pin striping is in excellent to new condition. See picture of boot leather/vinyl. There is a small tare that must have happen in storage because it wasn't there the last time I used it in 2008. Pictures were taken right out of storage and as you will see the cart is in excellent condition. A little surface rust on the wheel but that happens in storage. It will come right off with a good cleaning. The wheels will shine like new. Black Patent leather dash, Whip socket is brass, painted undercarriage, new vinyl wing back cushion.
